Tower-shaped salt and pepper shaker in marked silver.
Marks:
A.M & C° : this is the master mark of A.M. & Compagnie, a Schoonhoven-based silversmithing firm that was active in the first half of the 20th century.
Anchor : mark of the Schoonhoven inspection chamber.
Lion passant (looking left, thus deviantly struck?): stands for a silver content of 835/1000.
Small t in bracketed shield: yearletter for 1933.
RD57/366: RD = rechtendepot (rights repository), 57 = the year of registration, and 366 = the serial number of the registered draft in that year. So it was not until 1957 that the shakers were officially registered as models. This sometimes happened when a design became popular.
