Chinese lacquered two door cabinet in the typical red. Large brass medallions, lock and pulls.
The cupboard has been restored on the inside (new shelves and a reparation at the back). The outside is in very good condition.
Chinese wedding cabinets were traditionally given as a wedding gift by the parents of the couple. The cabinet would act as the main storage for the married couple when they moved from their parents house.
